You have more space available, but still not enough for a full band? Same amazing sound, but this time with 3 members. With the option of live drums or virtual drums, we can keep the sound level low in case of any venue restrictions.
Hire the full band! We arrive fully equipped with state-of-the-art sound and lighting equipment. We even bring a soundman to make sure everything is just so.
Lead Vocalist
Helen has been a part of the Motown circuit for over a decade, opening for well-known acts such as the Three Degrees, Boney M, and The Real Thing. She studied Performing Arts at Wolverhampton University, where she earned her degree. Helen is now planning to return to ACM University Birmingham to pursue her master's degree in vocal production.
Drums
Liv started playing the drums at a young age and has been a professional drummer for over five years. She holds a first-class honors degree from the British and Irish Modern Music Institute and has achieved Grade 8. She also teaches drums when she is not gigging with The Detours.
Bass Guitar and Backing Vocals
Martin started playing bass at age 13. Always eager to improve, he has achieved a distinction at Grade 7 on the bass guitar and possesses a comprehensive understanding of music theory.

With 25 years of performance experience, Adam is a seasoned musician. He studied Music Performance and Musicianship at Stratford Upon-Avon college before earning his degree from Brighton Institute of Modern Music. Adam's love for life performance shines through from his extensive experience playing in bands of all styles, including, Rock, Ska and Soul.
The 4-piece band fronted by Motown diva Helen James really packs a punch! Helen has been on the Motown circuit for over a decade and has opened for the likes of the Three Degrees/Boney M and The Real Thing. The rest of the band are all fully qualified, seasoned musicians so you will be in for a real treat.
